The HSS saw blades are a highlight; they come in multiple sizes and are perfect for making clean, precise cuts in plasticard and resin model kits without melting the material. I used the 22mm blade to cut out custom windows on a sci-fi vehicle model, and the result was flawless. The diamond cutting discs are equally impressive. I used one to shape a ceramic tile for a diorama base, and it cut through the material smoothly with no chipping, something my old discs always struggled with. For metal work, like trimming down brass rods or pewter figure parts, the reinforced resin wheels have held up surprisingly well under light pressure. They wear down, as expected, but the performance is consistent. The included mandrels are of decent quality and hold the discs securely. This kit has everything a hobbyist needs to tackle virtually any cutting task. It has replaced three separate purchases and has performed brilliantly. An exceptional value and a must-have for any rotary tool owner.

This is an incredibly useful and versatile set for anyone with a rotary tool, and the value proposition is undeniable. The high-speed steel (HSS) blades for wood and plastic are sharp and effective. I used one to make some clean cuts in a PVC pipe for a plumbing repair, and it worked perfectly. The diamond cutting wheels are the real star of the show; they are excellent for scoring and cutting tile and glass. I used one for a mosaic project, and it cut through stained glass with minimal chipping, which was a pleasant surprise. The set is almost worth the price for these diamond discs alone. However, the one area where this kit shows its budget price is with the resin cut-off wheels. While you get a good number of them, they wear down very, very quickly when cutting metal. I used one to cut off a small, stripped screw, and the wheel was more than half its original size by the end of that single cut. Compared to the name-brand reinforced wheels I’ve used, the durability is not even close. So, my conclusion is this: this is a 5-star kit for the HSS and diamond wheels, but a 3-star kit for the resin wheels. I'm giving it a 4-star rating overall. It's a fantastic purchase for a hobbyist, just don't expect the resin discs to last long on any serious metal-cutting tasks.
